Chinese donghua on AniWave: cultivation, long runs and where to start

The Chinese tab, kept

AniWave gave Chinese animation a tab of its own, and the donghua shelf keeps it: a hundred and sixteen series and films. Most are cultivation stories, a young hero climbing realms of power: Renegade Immortal, Perfect World, A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality, Fights Break Sphere, Swallowed Star and Soul Land.

Episode counts

Donghua run weekly for years and count their episodes continuously, so The God of War Dominates passes six hundred and Supreme God Emperor six hundred and forty; the Ep strip on each card says which you are signing up for. Mark your place with Reached this episode.

Where to start

A Record of a Mortal's Journey is the one most recommended first; The Daily Life of the Immortal King is the comedy; Soul Land is the classic.
